concludes two-year youth football player
safety study commissioned by USA Football
USA Football has
released findings from a two-year study to
advance player health and safety in
organized youth tackle football. USA
Football, the sport’s national governing
body, commissioned its Youth Football Player
Safety Surveillance Study in February 2012
with Indianapolis-based Datalys Center for
Sports Injury Research and Prevention. The
independent scientific study monitored
leagues in six states and is believed to be
the first of its scope in youth football’s

All (FHAC) football teams and
cheerleading squads compete in SOYFAI, the
Southern Ohio Youth Football Association,
Inc., against community football and
cheerleading organizations from throughout
the Cincinnati area.
The level of play within
our conference of affiliation is as
competitive as you will find in Greater
Cincinnati. That said the separation of
conferences provides the ability to ensure
playing time for all who participate. The
member organizations of SOYFAI have a
storied history of developing some of the
finest football and cheerleading talent to
come out of the Greater Cincinnati area.
